Zoo Education Trip to Wallaby Woods to Visit the Love Birds

Yesterday we went a trip to Wallaby Woods to learn all about the Love Birds. This was very topical as Thursday was Valentines Day❤ Our guide Chloe showed the children the Love Birds and gave them an interesting talk about them. During the course of the morning the children seen lots of other animals and birds, went on a nature walk and played in the playgrounds. A big thank you to Chloe and the rest of the staff for a very pleasant and informative trip.

Our Easter Chicks

On the 21st March the children placed hen eggs in our school incubator and for the next three weeks we have counted down the days until our chicks hatched out. This happened over the past couple of days and it was an amazing experience for the children who witnessed it happening. So far we have 4 adorable chicks with hopefully more arriving over the weekend. We were fortunate enough to capture some of the chicks hatching on camera
